I visited Ireland for the first time over spring break. I went with a few other exchange students and we stayed for one week. It was such an amazing experience. Here is everything we did!

Dublin- We arrived in Dublin and stayed here for three nights. The hostel we stayed at was very close to the city center so we were able to walk around quite a bit on the first day. That night we signed up for a pub crawl that the hostel was hosting. We weren’t sure what to expect because it was a Sunday night, but it ended up being so much fun! The hostel took us to three different pubs and they all had live music and a fun atmosphere. The next day we did a free walking tour of the city. Our tour guide was really funny and she explained so much about the history of Dublin that we had never heard of before. We also checked out the campus of Trinity College. Later in the day we booked tickets for the Guiness museum. This is definitely a must do for Dublin. The museum is huge and at the end you get a free pint of Guinness in the 360 sky bar. On our last day in Dublin we decided to take a day trip to Belfast in Northern Ireland. This was a beautiful city. We also visited the Titanic museum here which was very impressive.

Road trip- For the last part of our trip we took a rental car to explore some other cities in Ireland. Our first stop was Galway. We really enjoyed walking around the city and getting dinner here at night. There was lots of live music and the whole city had a very lively atmosphere. The next day we drove to the Cliffs of Moher. This was by far my favorite part of the trip! The views from the cliffs were absolutely breathtaking. Our final stop on the trip was Cork. We walked around the city and also visited the nearby town of Kinsale.

This Ireland trip was so memorable! If you have the time to visit I would definitely suggest staying for at least 3-4 days. There are so many beautiful places to visit.
